Examples off our lessons
Example one
Customer contacts us with repertoire he/she has studied for a conducting class or own orchestra rehearsal. We spend three lessons with the customer, first lesson we concentrate a bit on the analysis, rehearsal planning and the possible technical difficulties with the repertoire. Second lesson discussion and video analysis of the rehearsal/class the customer had with the material and ideas on how to improve/where to focus in next rehearsal. Third lesson again video analysis and conversation on where to go with the repertoire and general ideas on where to guide your focus when rehearsing and conducting next time.
Example two
Student contacts with the repertoire he/she has to conduct in an entrance exam for a conservatory/university. We go trough the material with student and pinpoint on specific things to keep in mind when performing under a stressful situation. What the jury might be looking for in an exam and how to deal with the technical difficulties in the repertoire that's been conducted.
Example three
You are an experienced musician and are about to take on the world of conducting for the first time with your own group as a conductor. Discussions and basic technical advises and exercises for a beginning conductor.
And everything else that you might have on your mind about conducting. We can also organize a session about planning the perfect program for a concert, with varying ensembles from symphony orchestra to wind bands on all skill-levels. We have a special knowledge about Norwegian and Finnish wind music for players and groups off all skill levels.
